New Chief Pilot for C.A.A.


The appointment of Capt. C. A. H. Beck as Chief Pilot of the C.A.A. (Central African Airways)     Group was announced last month.

Capt. Beck, who saw service with the Royal Rhodesian Air Force and the RAF during World War II, joined CAA in July 1946, a month after the formation of the Corporation. His total flying experience to date exceeds 18,000 hours.


Capt. Beck takes over as Chief Pilot from Capt. J. R. Orbell who left CAA after nearly 21 years' service.
