Below is the last service to commemorate the arrival of the Pioneer Column on 12th September 1890 at Salisbury in Rhodesia.

Just to remind you that here in Norfolk we hold a commemorating 'Flag Raising Parade/Service' every year on the Sunday nearest to 13 September. This year we will be commemorating the 120th anniversary of the raising of the Union Flag at Fort Salisbury, Mashonaland.
