The Origins of the CAA Main Hangar

An interesting set of photos showing the original 'Theatre Royal' building, commissioned for the Rhodes Centenary  Exhibition, Bulawayo which was later converted to the CAA main hangar. An example of 'recycling'!

This set of photos was extracted from the book "A History of Rhodesian Entertainment" by CTC Taylor, published by MO  Collins (Pvt) Ltd Salisbury, in 1968.
