Cargoman Crew
By Andy McNeil
This photograph was taken in 1979, in the cockpit of Jack Malloch's DC 8's, A4-OPA.
Photograph shows Capt. Tony Norton and F/O Hayes with my chimp James checking out the FE panel. We flew down from the Congo, aboard this aircraft.
Thanks to Andy for sharing his photograph and memories with ORAFs
I have attached another photo that I took, this time one of the Chimps is having a smoke break!

That's fantastic. I remember it well. Where are you Andy?
Tony Norton
Anyone know where Richard Hayes is now?? He was at PE with me and also in the Air Cadets. The last I heard he was in Hong Kong.
He also flew for Air Rhodesia when I worked there.

Thanks for the picture, but which one is the chimp?
Dave Hann (RhAF) Writes:-
All I can say is that Jack provided the FE's (Flight Engineer's)with good quality fur coats.
